On Sunday August 28th, tropical storm Irene flooded out the Deerfield Inn. Not to worry – the good news is that restoration and renovation have begun.

We will probably not be open again until mid-2012, but you can friend us on Facebook and follow our progress in albums!

Champney’s Restaurant & Tavern is undergoing exciting renovations and will re-open mid-2012 along with a restored terrace event space and the ground floor of the carriage house – both wrecked by Tropical Storm Irene.

PRIVACY POLICY
We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the pages you visited on our site. We will not sell or pass on your personally identifiable information to anyone.

SECURITY POLICY
Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard, and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

REFUND POLICY (for Deerfield Inn reservations)
Reservations are guaranteed by a deposit equal to one night’s stay by a major credit card (Amex, Visa, MasterCard), check, or cash.

If your plans change we must receive notice of cancellation at least seven days prior to your scheduled arrival in which case we will gladly credit your deposit to another visit within six months, or we will refund your deposit. For last minute cancellations your deposit may be forfeited unless we can resell the room at the same rate. Please note that there are no refunds for early departures unless we can resell the room.

A $15 per room processing fee applies to all cancellations.

Payments for items ordered through our on-line concierge that are unclaimed due to a last minute cancellation are not refundable.

SHIPPING POLICY
We send purchased gift cards by US Priority Mail within 48 hours of receipt. Credit card authorization and verification must be received prior to processing. Seven dollars ($7) is added to each order to cover shipping and handling. Expect 2-3 business days for delivery.
