Breakfast is served daily from 7:30 to 10:00 am.

Lunch is served in the tavern every day, from 12:00-2:30 pm., except on Sunday December-March, when we have brunch instead with live music.

Dinner is either in Champney’s Restaurant, open for relaxed fine dining Friday through Monday, or in the Tavern, open seven nights a week. We are open from 6:00-9:00 pm, but open at 5:00 pm during the off season winter months.  We have a fully stocked bar with over two dozen beers and wines by the glass, as well as a list of 101 sensational martinis.  Intimate porch dining is available in fine weather.

The Deerfield Inn uses the finest and freshest naturally-raised produce in its restaurant and is a long-time supporter of our local CISA (Communities Involved in Sustaining Agriculture).

Welcome to Champney's

For our 125th anniversary at the Deerfield Inn, we've given ourselves the gift of a name for our dining room. James Wells Champney, engraver, photographer, and painter, lived on Deerfield's Main Street while teaching at Smith College. Our relaxed fine dining venue is open F-M and the comfortable tavern is open seven nights with its own tavern menu. We offer a great list of 101 martinis, a wide selection of imported & domestic bottled and draft beers, an extensive wine list with more than 20 wines by the glass, & a cigar humidor so you can enjoy a smoke outside on the rockers.
